History

In Your Ear Studios was founded in 1990 by Carlos Chafin and Robbin Thompson and soon grew into a trusted name for industry professionals. Our production complex, built in 1999, features historic Shockoe Bottom architecture and five world-class studios. We employ a team of experienced engineers, sound designers, music producers, talent, and support staff.

In Your Ear Studios’ work includes major companies, series, feature films, and music artists. Notable credits include Severance, Chris Brown, and The Family Guy.
